Where we come from
Ignite Church International was founded in 2009 by Pastors Tyler and Laura Clark known then as Brighton Outreach Ministries (BOM). In the Summer of 2016, BOM held their grand opening of their first building.
In 2020, the Lord called founding Pastors Tyler and Laura to relocate to South Carolina.
The Lord was already preparing Pastors Chris and Stephanie Roche to take over the leadership role of BOM and in September of 2020 they were installed. After a fire which shut the church down for many months, the Lord called our team to re-name our church Ignite Church International.
Our church continues to grow with a heart for outreach and igniting hearts from our neighborhood to the nations.
Where we're headed
Our heart is to be a place where people can come and have their hearts ignited to burn for God or the flame fanned for their future. We feel a mandate to walk in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and freedom for God to move in the hearts of everyone. We desire to have a place where people can feel free to respond to God as he works in their hearts.
We also desire to disciple people to know God and make Him known in their sphere of influence. We believe each believer has giftings God wants to use both in the church and in the community. We feel God wants us to identify, prepare and activate those giftings to be impactful in people's lives.
